Our Scanning and retouching service can provide you with high resolution flat bed or photographic scans of almost any sized item, from film to original artworks to old delicate photos in need of digitization. We can restore old and damaged photos before they are lost forever, reversing the effects of fading, discoloration, tears, creases, mold and scratches.
This image underwent extensive restoration work to remove mold and blotches. The light and shadows were also worked on extensively to restore the images depth to bring clarity and definition to the subject.
Having received direct sunlight for many years this image had all but lost it's colour. Using several techniques layered together the original colours were restored.
The typical wear & tear such as scratches and marks were removed in this image then converted to black and white and finally it's contrast and sharpness was improved.
