SERVICE INFORMATION
Vision Graphics has long prided itself on having one of the best and longest-running quality E6 processes in the world. Our labs have used Kodak’s Q-Lab ® E6 process monitoring service for many years, considering it the yardstick in quality and consistency monitoring for transparency processing the world over. All our film processes are monitored several times a day to ensure consistent and professional quality. All our transparency and negative film is processed via the “dip and dunk” method – a system that ensures the safest transport and processing of your film and therefore the most consistent results.

Roll film cut and sleeved unless requested otherwise
Assess and run service available for clipped or tested film
No surcharge for push processing, pull processing or cross processing. (Note – these processes may add to standard service time)
Slide mounting available at time of processing only.
Extended hours processing with night boxes (account clients only) at both sites for added convenience.
Sunday processing available at Vision Graphics Redfern (lab open 12.00pm to 5.00pm)
Vision Graphics does not process APS (Advanced Photo System) film, Kodachrome, Agfa Scala B&W transparency film or any traditional process B&W negative film.

Vision Graphics will accept no liability for the outcome of cross-processed film. Lab staff may be able to offer an opinion on the likely outcome, but with the number of variables involved, no guarantees can be made. Customers must be aware that they will be charged for the processing whether the result is favourable or not. This same condition applies to any experimental processing requested. There is no additional charge for cross-processing.

MOUNTS
Vision Graphics uses Quickpoint 1.9mm plastic mounts for all film mounting. These mounts offer strong protection for your film and are easy to open for repositioning or replacement of your slides. Titling is done in black type only with a maximum of 2 lines top and 2 lines bottom containing 19 characters on each line.

E6 PROCESS
E6 is the standard process for all types of colour transparency/slide film with the exception of Kodak Kodachrome® film and Agfa Scala ® black & white transparency film.

C41 PROCESS
C41 is the standard process for all types of general use colour negative film including select black and white negative films … namely Ilford’s XP2 and Kodak’s T400CN.

DIP AND DUNK
A trade term depicting the use of film processors which transport film on racks, dipping them into the respective chemical solutions which bring about the development of the film. This process ensures minimal machine contact with the photographic film and no scratches, as well as superb consistency of process.

CLIP TEST
Clip testing a roll of film is a process whereby a short length of film is cut from the beginning or end of a roll of film (only possible with 35mm and 120/220mm film) and processed separately at a nominated speed to check for overall exposure, before processing the balance of the film. Clients may either assess their own film, or ask lab staff to do so. Assessing a client’s film naturally involves a high degree of responsibility and is done by senior, experienced staff and often involves a second or third opinion. Section 7 of our Conditions of Business clearly states that clients requesting VG staff to assess their film, do so at their own risk. Clip tests are also occasionally referred to as Snip Tests.

PROCESS & PROOF
• All contact proofs are done on a 1:1 ratio only and on matt paper.
• Larger jobs may require an extended service time.
• Unless otherwise instructed – Vision Graphics will provide its own labels and numbering system.
